What types of door locks does Anona Holo support?
Anona Holo Smart Lock is only compatible with the single cylinder deadbolt. It is not currently compatible with the following deadbolts: Medeco, Mortise, Integrated Lock & Handles, Rim Cylinder.
How to install batteries for Anona Holo?
1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Pull the door lock knob outward until it can no longer be pulled.
3. Following the polarity symbols indicated at the bottom of the battery compartment, and insert the two middle batteries, then insert the two outer batteries.

Why is my Anona Holo showing abnormal battery levels after replacing the battery?
1. Ensure that the battery is fully charged and new (we recommend using a Lithium Battery).
2. In the Settings -> Battery Settings, select the appropriate battery type (Lithium Battery/Others).
What should you do if Anona Holo's knob cannot rotate to vertical position and the "Anona" logo on the knob cannot direct to the indicator?
Please reset the motor as follows:
1. Remove the front plate while the lock is detched from the door.
2. Press the Reset button 5 times. The thumb turn will turn counterclockwise to the vertical position, with the Anona logo below the indicator.
3. According to the installation tutorial, install the lock on your door.
Why does calibration fail?
Common reasons for calibrating failure:
1. Wrong installation of Holo. Please strictly follow the steps in the installation video.
2. The existing mechnical lock or the Holo Smart Lock is not unlocked before calibrating. Please make sure both are unlocked before calibrating.
3. Holo isn't connected to your smart phone. Please make sure your smart phone's Bluetooth is on and the Holo is connected to your phone via Bluetooth.
4. The existing mechanical lock has interference with the lock hole, and spring bolt cannot slide in or out smoothly. Please repair the lock hole or the existing mechanical lock.
FAQ-Basic Functions
Do Anona Holo and Anona Keypad support button power control?
Anona Holo and Keypad don't support button power control. Press and hold the button for more than 5 seconds to reset the device. After inserting batteries, Anona Holo and Keypad will automatically turn on; after removing batteries, Anona Holo and Keypad will automatically turn off.
What types of batteries do Anona Holo and Anona Keypad support?
1.5V AA battery. Recommend to use alkaline dry batteries or lithium iron dry batteries to ensure longer battery life. Standard rechargeable AA batteries are not suggested because their voltage is lower and they drain more quickly.
What are the locking and unlocking methods for Anona Holo?
Anona Holo has a variety of locking and unlocking methods, including:
1. App lock/unlock via Bluetooth.
2. Remote App lock/unlock via Wi-Fi.
3. Lock/unlock with password (must work with Anona Keypad).
4. Auto lock (can be enabled in App).
5. Mechanical lock/unlock with your key.
Why does locking or unlocking fail via bluetooth or Wi-Fi?
There are some reasons including:
1. There is an issue with the door lock's Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and the lock is offline.
2. When unlocking remotely via Wi-Fi, the network signal is poor, and the command is not successfully transmitted.
3. The door lock is jammed and cannot function properly.
4. The door lock is not calibrated, causing the unlocking/locking function to malfunction.
Why is the actual lock status different from the status indicated in the app?
During installation, the device is not installed correctly and the mechanical lock's state may not align with the Anona Holo's state. Please refer to the installation instructions and ensure that both the mechanical lock and the Anona Holo are in an unlocked state when installing.
Does Holo support automatic locking or unlocking?
Anona Holo supports automatic locking, but does not support automatic unlocking. You can enable automatic locking after the calibrating process. After enabling, it will lock automatically when the door closes.
Automatic locking is enabled, but Anona does not lock automatically after the door closes. How can I resolve this issue?
Anona Holo has built-in sensors to detect the door's position. The sensor will accumulate errors leading to inaccurate detection if the lock has been work for a long time. Please recalibrate the lock when auto-locking is invalidated.
It warns of jamming when Anona Holo unlocks. How can I resolve this issue?
Causes of jamming:
1. When locking, if the door is not completely closed, the lock bolt can be obstructed by the door frame.
2. If the lock bolt is not obstructed, there might be significant friction between the lock hole and the lock bolt, preventing it from fully extending or retracting.
Solutions:
1. When closing the door, don't do it too slowly. Closing the door too slowly near the door frame can easily cause jamming, especially with the automatic locking feature activated.
2. Adjust the gap between the lock hole on the door frame and the lock bolt.
How does Anona Holo detect the door's status?
Anona Holo has built-in sensors to detect the door's position without additional accessories.
What should I do when Holo reports inaccurate door status?
Holo has built-in sensors to detect the door's position. The sensor will accumulate errors leading to inaccurate detection if the lock has been work for a long time. Please recalibrate the lock when the door state is wrong.
Do Anona Holo and Keypad support low-battery alert?
Yes, Anonda Holo and Keypad support low-battery alert. When the battery level falls below 20% or 10%, a low battery alert will be pushed via App.
How long can the Holo Smart Lock last after a low battery alert?
When the battery level falls below 20%, the device can generally last 5-10 days; when it falls below 10%, it can last 3-5 days. The specific battery life depends greatly on the frequency and scenario of user usage.
FAQ-Network & Binding
Why can't I find the device when binding?
Some possible reasons:
1. The phone's Bluetooth function is not enabled, please enable the Bluetooth function in system permissions.
2. The device has not been reset, please remove the device panel and press and hold the red reset button at the bottom for more than 5 seconds to reset the device.
Why does the binding fail?
Some possible reasons:
1. The device exited the reset state during the binding process.
2. The phone has too many Bluetooth connections, preventing the device from connecting.
3. The phone has poor or no network connection.
Why does the network configuration fail?
Some possible reasons:
1. The device exited the network configuration state during the process.
2. The added Wi-Fi is 5GHz. Please make sure the WiFi is 2.4GHz.
3. The Wi-Fi’s password is wrong.
4. The distance between the device and WiFi router is too long and the network connection is poor.
Does Anona Holo support changing Wi-Fi?
Yes. You can change the WiFi configuration in "Lock settings"-"Wi-Fi setting".
Which smart home platforms does Anona Holo support?
Anona Holo supports integration with Alexa and Apple Home platforms. Google Home support is coming soon. If other smart home platforms like IFTTT are compatible with the Matter protocol and the Matter protocol includes a door lock category, they might also be supported.
How is Anona Holo added to smart home platforms?

Before binding, please ensure Anona Holo has been calibrated correctly.
1. Open Anona Security app, enter the device homepage.
2. Click on "Lock Settings" -> "Matter Binding" to display the Matter QR code and pairing code.
3. On the third-party's platform, scan the Matter QR code or copy and paste the pairing code:
- Ensure that Alexa and Apple Home have already bound a speaker or smart display that supports the Matter protocol.
- For Alexa: Go to "Devices" -> click the "+" in the top right corner -> select "Matter" type device to start adding the device.
- For Apple Home: Tap the "+" in the top right corner -> "Add or Scan Accessory" -> scan the QR code or choose "More Options" -> "I Don't See My Accessory" -> "Enter Code" (enter the copied pairing code) to start adding the device.
What should I do if the firmware upgrade fails?
Please check:
1. Ensure your home network is functioning normally; if not, configure a new home network.
2. If the home network is normal but the upgrade still fails, try switching to your mobile 4G network and retry;
3. Check if your mobile network is stable, an unstable signal during the upgrade process may also result in a failed upgrade.

How to add the Anona Keypad?
On the device homepage, click "Keypad management"-"Add keypad", and finish adding according to page guides.
Why is my Anona Keypad not working normally?
Common reasons:
1. The keypad is too far from the door lock which cannot connect to Anona Holo, and the indicator light flashes red.
2. The keypad's battery is depleted if the backlight is unable to light up.
3. Multiple incorrect password entries have caused the keypad to enter "Lockout Protection Mode" and become temporarily disabled.
Solutions:
1. It is recommended to keep the installation distance between the keypad and the door lock within 3 meters/9.8 feet.
2. Upon receiving a low battery warning from the keypad, it is advisable to replace the batteries soon.
3. If the keypad is disabled due to wrong password entries, it will only be reinstated once the lockout timer expires. Note, there's no option to reinstate the keypad via the App when "Lockout Protection Mode" is activated.
Is the Anona Keypad waterproof?
Yes, it has a IP65 waterproofing rating.
